What is Sacramentum?

Sacramentum is a Catholic parish management system built to help parishes communicate sacramental life clearly and reverently—while giving clergy and staff dependable tools for scheduling, records, and follow‑through.

What parishioners can do (public)

On your parish’s public Sacramentum page, you can find the information parishioners most often need quickly and clearly: Mass schedules, Confession schedules, and (in some parishes) real‑time priest availability.

If your parish accepts online Mass intention requests, you can submit an intention from the public calendar, provide the requested details, and (when enabled) make a secure online offering. Depending on what your parish offers, this may include unscheduled intentions and Gregorian Mass series. You can also track the status of a request and access receipts when applicable.

Some parishes also use Sacramentum to send secure links for parishioner forms—for example, Baptism registration or Funeral liturgy planning.

Accounts for parishioners (optional)

If you request intentions more than once, it can be helpful to create an account so you can keep everything in one place. In many parishes, a parishioner account lets you:

  • Review intention requests over time (upcoming, pending, and fulfilled), including the stipend/offering amounts recorded for each request
  • View payments information, including “stipend summaries” (invoices) and receipts when applicable
  • Claim or link past guest checkouts to your account when available
tip

If you don’t know your parish’s Sacramentum address (subdomain), contact your parish office.

What priests and staff can do (signed in)

When signed in, Sacramentum helps parish leadership keep schedules, records, and communication accurate—especially around Mass, Confession, and intentions.

Priests can manage availability and view assigned responsibilities.

Administrators and staff can manage:

  • Locations, users, and requester records
  • Schedules (including recurring schedules and one‑time events)
  • The full Mass intention workflow from request to assignment to fulfillment—with an audit trail for accountability

Sacramentum also supports parish settings (timezone, contact information, canonical intention rules, and payment configuration) and financial workflows related to offerings (receipts, invoices, payouts, and reports). Some parishes additionally use modules for rooms & events, sacraments & rites records, and visitation ministry.
